RoVer® Rust Remover works reasonably well

RoVer® Rust Remover is manufactured by Hach Company (Loveland, Colorado).

It appears to be predominantly a blend of sodium bisulfite and sodium hydosulfite.  The product comes as a white, small-grained, granular-feeling powder.

For rust stains on concrete, just wet the area, pour some on, and scrub.

In my case, I was impressed that it got most of 4.5 year-old steel can rust stain up from our garage floor.  Some of the rust ring was actually built upward with rust deposits.  The base of the built-up portion did not come up, but the rest of the circle did.

Removing (weeks-old) steel snow shovel rust stains from the floor, where the shovel had been propped, was easy.

Some years ago, my wife used RoVer® to remove rust stains from white nurse’s uniforms that a faulty clothes washer had deposited on them.

This is an unpretentious product that does what it says it will, under ordinary conditions.
