Apathy in the face of other people’s sacrifice is the national soul’s most killing adversary

It is probably not possible to overcome the forgetfulness most of us display in regard to our current wars.

The Washington Post’s Faces of the Fallen online memoriam offers a perspective check similar to visiting Arlington National Cemetery.

With irremediable sadness.
