Government’s regulatory failure on video

A visual apsect of BP's performance in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill illustrates the Kafkaesque absurdity of plutocratic control of world governments.

BP's video monitoring of the oil flow simultaneously shows the large flow of toxic chemical dispersants being spurted into the oil column.  Toxicity is being added to toxicity in a volume of hundreds of thousands of liters per day.  All with the pre- and post-drilling acquiescence of the United States government.

Would ordinary American farmers, small businesses, home owners, or laborers get away with doing the same?  Obviously not.

No wonder that we have lost confidence in the federal government.  The bigger the threat, the less our leaders do.

It is now as if the federal government harasses ordinary citizens, while helping large corporations distress our lives and the places we live.
