Recall the Weimar Republic's Brown Shirts?
They are back. This time in the United States.
The viciously untrained, predominantly thug-populated street elements of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency are going to be issued electric-shock delivering gloves:
Immigration and Customs Enforcement is planning to give its officers high-tech gloves that deliver electric shocks to people they're trying to detain, according to plans posted by the Department of Homeland Security this week.
The agency could spend as much as $20 million on the gloves made by Compliant Technologies, a veteran-owned company based in Kentucky.
The device is called the G.L.O.V. E., an acronym that stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter.
When a small button on the wrist of the glove is activated, it delivers an electric shock when it touches skin.
It is similar to a taser, but unlike a taser, there are no prongs that emerge and break the skin.

Result?
ICE will now be able to torture its haphazardly, often illegally chosen victims — without being easily detected by the American public.
Think about this
As Caitlin Johnstone observed today:
The most powerful weapon our rulers have is the fact that homo sapiens are incapable of perceiving everything all at once.
If everybody could perceive all the consequences of the decisions being made by powerful people on a deep experiential level, most of humanity would rise up to overthrow the established order, and there’d be hardly anyone willing to defend it.
The only thing keeping the heads of the oligarchs and empire managers attached to their necks is the limitations of human perception.
Which of course is why they work so hard to maintain the present limitations of human perception.
All the propaganda, internet censorship, AI shenanigans, algorithm manipulation and government secrecy we see from the capitalist empire is there to keep us from seeing too much, because unadulterated truth tends to have a radicalizing effect on the mind.

The moral? — The sad day . . .
. . . when American citizens are forced to defend ourselves against Government's agents of fascist repression — from positions on our retreated-to rooftops — is rapidly approaching.
