Would you 'do diplomacy' with a nation — like the United States — that never-ever keeps its word?

How the kettle doth sing . . .

After years of the United States doing its best to start a war in Ukraine (via NATO encroachment) — and the Russians finally getting irritated enough to do something about it — here is our pompous Fat Boy Duo pontificating about international morality:

The top leaders at the Pentagon said Friday that they do not believe Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a decision to attack Ukraine but he has amassed the capabilities to give him plenty of options.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin [see here] and Chairman of the Joint Staff General Mark Milley [see here] on Friday urged Russia to take the diplomatic route instead of invade Ukraine.

"There's no reason that this situation has to devolve into conflict," Austin said during a briefing with reporters.

"He can choose to de-escalate. He can order his troops away. He can choose dialogue and diplomacy."

Milley told reporters that Russia has gathered upwards of 100,000 forces near Ukraine's borders. He also listed the capabilities such as ground maneuver forces, ballistic missiles, air force and said civilians could suffer if war were to break out in the scale and scope possible.

"You can imagine what that might look like in dense urban areas, along roads and so on and so forth. It would be horrific. It would be terrible. And it's not necessary and we think a diplomatic outcome is the way to go here," Milley said.

So, let' see . . .

The United States — which started, conducted, and continues to fuel wars all over the place (and has killed millions of people doing it) — is chastising the Russian Federation for expressing resistance to American efforts to subvert Ukraine's historically accepted buffer function against anti-Russian encroachment like ours.

It is metaphorically appropriate . . .

. . . that two such representatively porky Americans deliver their hypocritically oleaginous message to the world.

American Fat Cats are telling y'all what to do.

While lapping up your milk, along with theirs.

The moral? — If American leadership says it, it's almost always a lie

No country on this planet, in recent decades, has intentionally subverted genuine diplomacy more than ours.

The US Imperium's word is not worth boiled-away piss in a strong wind.
