When a nation is led by Nuremberg-worthy slimebags — this is what happens — Guantanamo's new secret 'courtroom'

Let's begin 2022 on a fully representative 'American' note

Consider the following news — itself just one element of the Militarist State's plan to extinguish truth on a permanent basis:

The New York Times reports Gitmo’s new second courtroom – which will cost $4 million – will not allow members of the public to witness proceedings against detainees to be tried for alleged terrorism-related offenses.

People wishing to view those trials will have the option of watching delayed video footage in a separate building.

The Times calls the second court “the latest retreat from transparency in the already secretive national security cases at the base, where the military and intelligence agencies have been restricting what the public can see.”

“I’ve observed trials in Mongolia that were more transparent than this,” James R. Hodes, an attorney representing detainee Encep Nurjaman – also known as Hambali . . . told the Times.

You can bet that the reason . . .

. . . for "delayed video footage" is so that critically important elements of what is (and was) real can be redacted out of it.

This is not much different from actions . . .

. . . contained in that the personal and professional records of those who got the rope at Nuremberg, is it?

Yet, our guys skate from moral accountability. Atop the torrential stream of looted profit that they bring in.

Nazis, belatedly and rightfully besieged on all fronts, never had it so good.

The moral? — The worst people are not in the dock

Of course, we know that.

And still do nothing.
