Sad propaganda — based on the passing of a Texas man — who reportedly died from COVID omicron

The following report exposes . . .

. . . the flamboyantly unreasoning heart of COVID-19 propaganda.

From Insider:

The first American believed to have died of the Omicron variant was an unvaccinated man from Texas who had already had the coronavirus once before, county officials said.

The man, a Harris County, Texas, resident between 50 and 60 years old, was a high-risk patient because of underlying conditions and his unvaccinated status, a press release from the county said. He died on Monday.

"This is a reminder of the severity of COVID-19 and its variants," Barbie Robinson, the executive director of Harris County Public Health, said in a statement.

"We urge all residents who qualify to get vaccinated and get their booster shot if they have not already."

By the elements

A man of apparently unknown age:

and of equally unreported (or unreportable)

but evidently serious medical conditions

who had had COVID before

but apparently still refused to be vaccinated

perhaps because (we are to intuit)

he thought that natural immunity works

(those Trumpy Texans, you know)

died from the omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant

and furthermore (holy shit, Batman)

was

(based upon no presented, or conceptually relevant evidence whatsoever)

the first to do so in the United States —

is designated now to stand

as a lesson to us all . . .

. . . that he would not have died had he been vaccinated.

Yes, that is exactly what Harris County Public Health . . .

. . . implies about this thoroughly unexplicated mound of reported personal and family sadness:

HCPH recommends all individuals five years and older get vaccinated as soon as possible.

To be protected against all current COVID-19 variants, including Omicron, individuals must be fully vaccinated and get a booster shot when they are eligible.

Being vaccinated provides the best protection from developing complications or death resulting from COVID-19.

Think about this — long enough to understand the breadth and depth of its absurdity

Pretend that you are a competent physician.

Your patient may or may not be elderly. Apparently, that's a guarded secret.

Your patient was ill with other, inferably chronic major illnesses.

He had COVID before and survived.

He may have assumed that natural immunity might save him in the future.

Alternatively, his physician at that time may have assessed the patient's (evidently accumulated) medical conditions — and concluded that his patient's immune system was already so compromised, that a vaccine would not be beneficial.

Alternative even to that, maybe the patient had a history of reacting poorly to at least some pharmaceuticals and some vaccines.

Or perhaps, he had already suffered so much illness, that he did not want to risk the temporary ills that any of the COVID vaccines might (and usually do) bring with them.

In short, the Harris County press release — and the equally useless Insider report that is based on it — both completely ignore every one of the absolutely pertinent — and medically weighty — aspects and nuances that go with the deceased's sorrow-provoking condition at the time of his passing.

The moral? — With disingenuous public health logic like that quoted above . . .

. . . this nation is doomed to a long-continuing pandemic of COVID psychosis.

Based upon grandstanding Government and Lamestream behavior like this, it is no wonder that American public health has lost significant amounts of credibility.

What can one say about to a Medical Establishment that uses a dead loved one as a scientifically unwarranted — completely unexplained and probably misapplied — propaganda lesson for the living?

I share Dr. Vinay Prasad's upset at what is going on within our intellectually dishonest and medically imprecise borders.
