Imbecilic CDC — finally (but obscurely) admits that — N95 respirators provide the best mask-protection against SARS-CoV-2

It only took 2 years for CDC geniuses to (obscurely) recognize the obvious

But even still, they continue to bury their (N95s are best) admission in waffling bureaucratese:

Types of Masks and Respirators

Updated Jan. 14, 2022

Summary of Recent Changes

Added information to present similar content for masks and respirators

Clarified that people can choose respirators such as N95s and KN95s, including removing concerns related to supply shortages for N95s

Clarified that “surgical N95s” are a specific type of respirator that should be reserved for healthcare settings

Clarified that some types of masks and respirators provide more protection to the wearer than others

Masks and respirators can provide varying degrees of protection, with well-fitting National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-approved respirators offering the most protection.

Key messages

Masking is a critical public health tool for preventing spread of COVID-19, and it is important to remember that any mask is better than no mask.

This page presents options in order of least to most protective. To protect yourself and others from COVID-19, CDC continues to recommend that you wear the most protective mask you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.

Notice first, the lie

"Any mask is better than no mask."

That is blatantly not true. Cloth masks are worthless (having zero effect) against COVID-19.

This was persuasively proven by Bangladesh's largest-ever anywhere, real-world trial of:

cloth masking versus no masking

and

surgical masking versus cloth masking

. . . ever conducted in COVID-19's context.

In addition to that weasel-faced lie

There is the even more important SARS-CoV-2 endemicity issue, which the CDC keeps burying.

Everyone, for all practical purposes, on this planet is going to be infected with SARS-CoV-2. The omicron variant, especially, is that contagious.

No amount of masking will be consistently used and reliable enough to evade SARS-CoV-2's eventual (and usually comparatively healthy-person-harmless) clutches in the foreseeable future.

Think of the COVID-19 virus's here-to-stay character as a new twist on respiratory colds.

Another revealing aspect

Even with regard to the N95 matter, consider American government's characteristic do-nothing response, during the entirety of the last two years.

And don't overlook Dr. Evil's lies about N95s that started this disingenuous (on purpose) nonsense.

In the beginning, epidemiologists knew — or should have known — that N95s were the only way to use masks to slow COVID-19's progress in invading the United States from the very beginning.

Yet, no diligent effort to produce reasonable amounts of those respirators, domestically, was ever made. Even healthcare workers were left grossly short of protection, month after month.

Government also made no attempt to distribute ordinary surgical masks to the American public.

Still today, most of the somewhat protective masks that we do see marketed to the public — at our personal expenses (so much for the hystericalized public health emergency) — are Chinese KN95s. Which the CDC slams, legitimately in many cases, as being inferior to US-made N95s:

Some respirators are designed and tested to meet international standards.

The most widely available respirators that meet an international standard are KN95 respirators.

Poor quality KN95 respirators

About 60% of KN95 respirators NIOSH evaluated during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 did not meet the requirements that they intended to meet.

Using a poor-quality product may not provide the level of protection indicated.

In all of this, we see that the US is dependent on foreign sources . . .

. . . for basic medical paraphernalia and virtually every other useful product known to humankind.

Yet obtusely — and in spite of our self-created dependence upon foreign suppliers — we continue to verbally slap foreign manufacturers around, whenever it is politically convenient to badmouth someone.

Even while, we refuse to support and advance our own nation's capacity to manufacture critically important products.

So much for genuine national security.

This totality of embarrassing circumstances . . .

. . . is a perfect indicator of the United States' energetically pursued self-destruction.

The moral? — Once again, the CDC is misleading . . .

. . . and deliberating (given credentials that should know better) concealing what is true.

Malicious mendacity seems to be characteristic of virtually all of US Federal Government.

Consider how difficult it would be, for the Deep State's Himmler types to build and maintain a successful tyranny based on Truth.
