Did COVID disappear the way Trump said it would? — you would think so, as Americans riot away social distancing — and mostly nobody mentions SARS-CoV-2

Is a third societal experiment underway?

A few days ago, I mentioned our (i) brain-dead and (ii) subsequently still-brain-dead COVID-19 experiments.

Those were:

Experiment 1 — in which we locked everything down — without good information to justify doing so

and

Experiment 2 — where we reopened everything — but without any new information to justify doing that, either.

Now, we've begun Experiment 3

Mild-massive George Floyd rioting in the streets, where social distancing has vanished — while we:

yell

and

scream —

nose-to-nose

and

chest-to-chest —

into

each other's faces.

And, get this . . .

. . . the same authorities, who started Experiments 1 and 2, are not saying much of anything about COVID anymore.

Does that mean that — if we don't mention it, it ain't real?

That could be true, I suppose . . .

. . . if COVID-19 coverage and responses have been overwrought from the beginning.

The moral? — The happy news is that . . .

. . . we are about to find out what is (or was) real and what is (or was) not.

Yay, Amerikuh, home of the:

brightest

foreseein'est

plannin'est

preparin'est

. . . folk on Earth!

Toddling Donny Trump was born to lead this crew of stellar performers.

And we gotta admit — from the big-big-big picture perspective — this has all been funny as John Cleese-Fawlty Towers comicalness.

Except, of course, for everybody who died and suffered, while 'leadership' did its typically deadly wolfy Nazi routines.
