Demonstrating again the incorrigible stupidity of American leaders — still more (soon to boomerang) anti-Russian sanctions

Because the first umptillion sets of anti-Russia sanctions worked so well?

I live in a nation controlled by the arguably stupidest, greediest and most morally repulsive group of people who ever walked the Earth:

Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), is implementing the commitments made by G7 Leaders by taking action against third-country actors who materially support Russia’s war; targeting Russian military procurement networks and those who help Russia acquire machine tools, equipment, and key inputs; and further curtailing Russia’s use of the international financial system to further its war in Ukraine.

“Our sanctions today continue to tighten the vise on willing third-country suppliers and networks providing Russia the inputs it desperately needs to ramp up and sustain its military-industrial base.”

The Treasury blurb lists, in detail . . .

. . . the alleged culprits that it is trying to strangle.

Those sanctions being sufficiently international in scope, as to demonstrate that the United States wants everyone to understand that we Americans rule the world.

See:

Daphne Psaledakis, Simon Lewis and Timothy Gardner, US issues sweeping sanctions targeting Russia over Ukraine war, Reuters (12 December 2023)

And more importantly, also demonstrating that the United States cannot be trusted to obey international rules of any kind, nor to be trusted with anyone's financial assets.

Ergo, in fully predictable international response . . .

. . . to this determined American foolishness, we now witness the burgeoning de-dollarization movement.

Which has already taken a noticeable bite of the United States' self-serving (so-called) rules-based order, as well as the profits we Americans made thereon.

Paul Craig Roberts laments that:

The enemies Washington has created for America are not weak.

Russia alone, China alone, perhaps even Iran alone, is a match or more for America. The three together constitute a vast over-match of US military capability.

Yet Washington continues to increase hostilities with these countries.

The mindlessness of my government is unbearable. Such utter stupidity.

Once the moronic Biden regime’s economic sanctions and the US loss of the reserve currency role finish off the US dollar, America is finished.

We will be a third world country, and the rest of the world will punish us for the sins of our government.

The moral? — Stalwart American imbeciles, from sea to shining sea

One wonders if General George Washington would have crossed the Delaware River, had he known that future generations of (now grifting) American leadership would maggot-gut 1776's courageously incipient nation — 247 years later.
