The Military Industrial Complex’s puppet — President Barack Obama — has apparently approved selling armed drones to America’s purported allies

The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize recipient must think that his drone murder program needs to be further expanded:

The State Department said Tuesday the new policy would allow foreign governments that meet certain requirements — and pledge not to use the unmanned aircraft illegally — to buy the vehicles that have played a critical but controversial role in combatting terrorism and are increasingly used for other purposes.

Recipient countries would be required to sign end-use statements certifying that the drones would not be used for unlawful surveillance or force against domestic populations and would only be used in internationally sanctioned military operations, such as self-defense.

Each sale would be reviewed individually and the pledges would be monitored for compliance, the department said in a statement.

Especially ironic are reported limitations on our allies’ use of the remote control killers

It is okay for us to kill and spy on our own citizens, but doing the same constitutes a no-no for our partners. The titular Emperor has spoken.

The moral? — Warmongering plutocrats are not going to rest, until the whole planet is ablaze

Meanwhile, we will pretend to be outraged by what the Russian Federation is doing in Ukraine. We are expert at camouflaging our swath-swelling evils with others’ comparatively trivial ones. Machiavelli would be proud. Adroitly concealed hypocrisy is a many splendored thing.

President Obama may qualify as the most cynically hypocritical president ever to grace the White House.
