After years of blaming Trump for callously locking migrant children up — Biden does equivalently the same — but, this time, it's the smugglers' fault

Introduction

What follows is heavy-handed sarcasm.

Wonder how propaganda shifts your perspective?

This morning, the American television Lamestream treated us to surveillance video of border smugglers dropping two children over the US-Mexico border wall.

The unspoken contextual implication being that this and other forms of illegal entry are over-burdening American immigration control. And, again implicitly obviously, our wondrously agile President Joe 'Saint' Biden could not prevent such hideous circumventions of his allegedly humane border policy.

The current situation, thus, being completely unlike predecessor Toddling Donny's policy, which had heinously caged these children's predecessors.

Al Jazeera . . .

. . . apparently trying to avoid a propagandizing slant, said only that:

“On Tuesday evening, a Santa Teresa [Border Patrol] agent utilising camera technology observed a smuggler dropping two young children from the top of the approximately 14-foot-high (four-metre-high) border barrier,” the CBP [US Customs and Border Protection] said in a statement on Wednesday.

“I’m appalled by the way these smugglers viciously dropped innocent children from a 14-foot border barrier last night,” chief patrol agent Gloria Chavez said in the statement.

The US is facing an increase of migrant and refugee arrivals at the country’s southern border, mostly Central Americans fleeing poverty and violence in their own countries.

Recently, there has been an average of 500 unaccompanied children crossing each day.

President Joe Biden’s administration is facing growing pressure to address the situation and criticism of how unaccompanied minors are being cared for in US government custody.

According to Raul Benitez Manaut of the National University of Mexico, the change of government in the US gave immigrants and refugees hope, increasing the number of people who try to cross the border.

“One of the key elements of Biden’s policy is about unaccompanied minors,” he told Al Jazeera, adding that this led to an increase in children arrivals from Latin American countries.

According to official statistics, the Department of Health and Human Services had 12,918 migrant and refugee children in their care as of Tuesday, while CBP was responsible for the care of another 5,285.

So, yeah . . .

. . . we can see how Saint Joe's good-hearted welcoming of innocents — completely inadvertently, unforeseeably and thoroughly unpredictably — encouraged Satan's Smuggler Forces to deposit illegally entering kids over the physical barrier between the two nations.

With that specific form of law-breaking horribleness, in turn, meaning that these new children have to be restrained and controlled — but not caged! — so as to preserve American immigration law.

And equally naturally — given President Biden's Lamestream-conveyed 'favored by God' status — there is and could not possibly be any repeat of Evil Trump's 'cage the vermin' horrific-ness.

Hmmm

From Time — an arguably reasonable observation — delivered by a psychotherapist with a directly pertinent childhood background:

President Biden was elected on a promise to end the inhumanities of the Trump Administration and to reassert America’s commitment to people seeking refuge and a better life.

But seven weeks in, advocates are still waiting on Biden to fulfill his campaign promise to end family detention.

Recently, the Biden administration reopened the Trump Administration’s massive child detention center in Carrizo Springs, Texas, and is reportedly planning to reopen the infamous Homestead child detention center in Florida.

The Washington Post unveiled Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) plans to turn Berks County Detention Center into a women-only facility, and rebrand the two family detention centers in Texas as so called “rapid-processing” centers.

A prison is a prison. That’s true whether it’s called a “family residential facility,” or a “rapid-processing center.” These facilities must be torn down, not renamed.

No matter what it’s called, a cage is still a cage. I know this firsthand; in 1945, the U.S. government published a propaganda film about the Crystal City internment camp where I was held, touting the flower gardens, medical staffing, and daily milk deliveries to this family prison.

The film cited these as signs of the “normal living conditions” inside the fence. But — despite these superficial niceties — I knew that I lived in a prison, and that the job of the armed guards in the watchtowers was to prevent my escape.

The moral? — Propaganda flavors everything

Pay attention to how you're being played.

For the most part, President Biden is continuing everything that Trump did, everywhere. With the sole exception being the Biden Administration's elevation of identity distinction and discrimination into an art form.

Nevertheless, we are continually persuaded that Devil Trump and Saint Joe B are not nearly identical Oligarchy-controlled stooges.
