The Wicked Witch lied about Tulsi Gabbard — demonstrating again that Trump voters had a point

Stupid and nasty is a bad combination

The Democratic Party's queen, Hillary Clinton, shot off her mouth again:

Clinton fired at [Tulsi] Gabbard in a recent podcast, during which she made reference to an unnamed Democrat who Clinton believed was readying a third-party challenge.

“I’m not making any predictions,” Clinton said, “but I think [the Russians] have got their eye on someone who’s currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far.”

Clinton then brought up the 2016 candidate Jill Stein, whom Clinton described . . . . as also a Russian asset . . . .

When asked if Clinton was referring to Gabbard, the Clinton aide Nick Merrill said, “If the nesting doll fits …”

Caitlin Johnstone correctly observed . . .

. . .that:

One doesn’t have to actually have any formal relationship with the Kremlin to be a Kremlin asset.

One doesn’t have to know they’re a Kremlin asset to be a Kremlin asset.

The Kremlin doesn’t even need to know one is a Kremlin asset for them to be a Kremlin asset.

Establishment loyalists get a damaging and incendiary tag that they can pin on anyone who disagrees with them, with the sole evidentiary requirement being that disagreement itself.

Never mind the fact that there are many, many reasons to oppose the US establishment foreign policy consensus which have nothing to do with Russia.

Never mind the fact that the US establishment foreign policy consensus has been an unmitigated disaster that has only made the world worse . . . .

[I]t is now literally impossible for an American political figure to vocally oppose US warmongering without being labeled a Russian asset.

And Renée Parsons chimed in . . .

. . . with:

It is no secret to the observant that since the 2016 election, the Democratic Party has been in a state of near-collapse, the victim of its own hubris, having lost their moral compass with unsubstantiated Russisgate allegations; those accusations continue as a futile exercise of domestic regime change.

Today’s Dems are less than a bona fide opposition party offering zero policy solutions, unrecognizable from past glories and not the same political party many of us signed up for many years ago.

Instead, the American public is witnessing a frenzied, unscrupulous strategy.

[H]ow much longer does the Democratic Party, which no longer serves a useful public purpose, deserve to exist?

The moral? — Whatever the American Deep State gets its hands on, it soils

Including the oligarchically machinating Democratic Party.

President Trump's only virtue is his repeated ability to irritate these conniving folk.

Having lost any ability to influence government's direction, a plurality of voters prize "The Donald" for this admittedly nihilistic reason.

Can one fair-mindedly call them entirely wrong?

Wicked Witch Hillary, and her former boss — the King of Hypocrites — eagerly helped make the bed we're in. It seems that their plan is for more of the same.
