If you don't have a sense of humor, God help ya

Post 2020 US election, I have been watching cavorting Democrats make even larger deluded asses of themselves than normal. Simultaneously, Trumpists are hysterically bewailing the End of 'Ahmurika'.

Both groups are oblivious to the transparent stupidities that manipulate most of us into supporting this oligarchically controlled charade.

Let's look around and evaluate

Democrats falsely claimed that Trump's election was fraudulent because evil Russians took it over. Suddenly in 2020, the new election is (non-falsely) legitimate because Democrats won it.

On the other side, Republicans claimed that 2016 was righteous because they came out on top, but 2020 is not because they didn't.

Escaping both groups' attention are two realities

First, presidential elections do not matter much:

[H]istory suggests that it matters less and less who gets elected president. Each succeeding election becomes the new “least consequential election in US history,” . . . .

Candidates are selected by an oligarchy of politically active billionaires who set strict limits on policy agendas.

No president ever has the political capital to pursue more than one or two major policy proposals, which generally get watered down anyway even if eventually approved.

Second, when an election might (accidently) make a difference, its outcome is almost certainly determined favorably to the Establishment:

US intel is very much aware of well-documented instances of election fraud. Among them:

NSA software that infiltrates any network, as previously detailed by Edward Snowden, and capable of altering vote counts;

the Hammer supercomputer and its Scorecard app that hacks computers at the transfer points of state election computer systems and outside third party election data vaults;

the Dominion software system, known to have serious security issues since 2000, but still used in 30 states, including every swing state;

those by now famous vertical jumps to Biden in both Michigan and Wisconsin at 4am on November 4 . . . .

multiple instances of Dead Men Do Vote.

The key actor is the Deep State, which decides what happens next.

Dodgy elections are a prerogative of Bolivia and Belarus.

Yet only the Empire is able to legitimize a dodgy election – especially in its own backyard.

Before preemptively dismissing . . .

. . . Pepe Escobar's observations, think about how easily most American electronic systems are hacked.

Do we really think that America's intelligence agencies and the FBI cannot (or would not) get into them, if they perceived the intrusion to be a necessary defense of their desired versions of America?

And, as a matter of intuitive proof of such a motivation, where should we conclude that those agencies' political sympathies lay, when President Trump was elected — false Russiagate being a prime example?

Consider the limits of "common person" knowledge

How does anyone know that the most pertinent precincts of very close elections were legitimately counted?

We were not there.

We could not omnipotently witness all aspects of the verification process and vote count.

And how can we be sure that the people (who were there) did not have ulterior motives, big fists and/or fat wallets?

Money corrupts and deliberately not-transparent processes dominate:

Just as Republicans blatantly skew voting district maps (gerrymander) to benefit themselves, Democrats vehemently encourage less traceably accurate ways and rules of and for voting.

Both sides pretend that God's Angels are theirs.

In truth, the closer an election appears to be, the more likely it is that there will be (or has been) some creative error(s) made in its counting.

Would those small "mistakes" actually matter to Societal Fairness?

No.

Consider about an extreme example of this:

If 160 million people voted — and the outcome favored the winner by only 1,000 votes — would this matter from any rational representative perspective?

Does a "majority" of (a) 80 million plus 1,000 substantively better describe a nation that has (b) an opposition comprised of a proportionately equal 80 million people?

Obviously not.

The will of the people is "fairly" embodied on either and both of those closely matched sides.

Such a small difference is — even when expanded to half a million or so, nationwide — mathematically, substantively and representatively trivial.

Dwelling on such a small difference, is a realm for rabidly partisan fools.

Charades extend farther and deeper than we recognize

Democrats and Republicans inanely think that they are a whole lot different from one another.

Given the inarguable fact that unquestioned laissez faire capitalist propaganda ineradicably governs both US political parties — as well as most American "independents" — these clan differences are foundationally meaningless.

Here is a minor example:

Republicans act as if wearing cloth face masks, during the COVID pandemic is a radical attack on Liberty.

Democrats act as if not wearing one is attempted murder.

In this inanely "American" mask debate, both sides completely missed the ultimate point, which is that:

if the US government:

and

its gargantuan Military Industrial Complex

had acted intelligently

and

in the interest of the American public

then —

we would have had unlimited access to N95 masks

as well as to legitimate information regarding

vitamin D, zinc, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine (etc, etc)

during early COVID treatment

and, as a result —

most (but not all) vulnerable people could have protected themselves

and

everyone else could have, pretty much, run free.

Instead of indulging such obvious common sense, both political tribes concocted the diverting Mask versus Patriotism bullshit issue to voluminously quarrel over.

And thus, again . . .

. . . the Great American Kakistocracy skated away from accountability.

Do you think that this status quo-undisturbing outcome might have been by Establishment plutocrats' design?

Where do we think that the Government's blanket refusal to properly investigate SARS-CoV-2 epidemiology comes from?

Could it be that COVID is not proportionately all that dangerous and greedy Big Pharma — as well as bribed Government — do not want competition from N95s and inexpensive generic treatments to interfere with their anticipated profits and expanded influence?

How otherwise to explain the overwhelming, unrepentant stupidity that characterizes the United States' COVID responses at all levels of government, Republican and Democrat?

The moral? — Modernity and COVID have exposed . . .

. . . how abysmally ignorant, thoughtless and easily distracted most of the American public is.

We might as well be a colony of two slightly differentiated strains of overly emotional, brain-absent ants.

Sheep, as a description, has merit also. We are wool-bearers, regularly sheared for other people's profit.

Ideally, we would jump species. Or stay and legitimately demonstrate the sapiens in our name.
