Finland and Sweden into NATO? — Biden's arrogantly malicious twerps — forgot to ask Turkey's Erdogan first

Can you believe this?

By way of introducing a Then-versus-Now contrast in competence:

Do you remember how Secretary of State James Baker diligently trotted around the world in 1990 — determinedly gathering support for the United States' eventually UN-approved effort to kick Iraq out of Kuwait?

And do you warmly recall how the American president in those days, George H. W. Bush — an old-fashioned New England 'duty before grift' elitist — was adamant that American imperialism be supported by an international consensus?

Compare today's . . .

. . . morally loathsome White House nitwits to 1990's respect-worthy group.

For example, after provoking Russia into invading Ukraine and now continuing to fuel that conflict — purportedly down to the 'last Ukrainian' — (so as to seriously flirt with starting World War 3) — the Biden Band has additionally urged Finland and Sweden to join NATO.

Such a Nordic accession into the Alliance would violate the two nations' former — and in Finland's case, treaty-formalized — neutrality.

This neutrality-trashing represents an already-announced uncrossable line for the Russian Federation. Just as Ukraine did.

Nevertheless, Finland and Sweden — led by their effetely soft, rot-decadent and constantly spouting holier-than-thou moralists — have been only too happy to invite suicide in a fit of writhing, orgasmic virtue-signaling.

And then (surprise-surprise) . . .

. . . the following news surfaced:

Turkey has issued its "list" of demands that must happen before it would accede to granting formal NATO membership to Scandinavian countries Finland and Sweden.

This coming on the same day both countries handed in their formal applications.

These Turkish demands include the following (arguably major) points:

Denounce the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and crack down on their activities in host countries

Immediately lift [anti-Turkey] arms export restrictions imposed in 2019

Washington should restore Turkey's participation in F-35 program

Lift sanctions related to Turkey's possession of Russian S-400s

We can conclude that . . .

. . . no one talked to Turkey's President Erdogan, before foolishly cementing the Nordics-NATO proposition to an already complicated, fulminating fray.

Can you believe this oversight?

Turkey has the second largest, and therefore critically important, military in NATO.

Erdogan is a canny negotiator.

People with any sense at all — including that of properly according deserved respect — would not ignore a country and president of Erdogan's (admittedly sometimes irritating) stature.

The moral? — Dementia Joe Biden and his morally twisted band of arrogant twerps . . .

. . . ignored the most fundamental of Great-Powers-in-Action rules:

Before moving on anything significant, make sure that your ducks are in a row.

This lapse — one of recent America's almost incalculably many — is the antithesis of US presidential administration leadership under George H.W. Bush and James Baker.

How humiliatingly and dangerously far, US leadership has fallen.

If some (or most) of us fry in Nuclear Fire, our leaders' rapaciously oriented stupidity will be the cause.
