China (sure as heck) is kicking our greedy imperialist butts — in the "good will" department

When pillage and plunder (even of our own people) are the United States' only official goals . . .

. . . this is what happens:

Poland’s Foreign Ministry said Wednesday it is expecting the delivery of 10,000 coronavirus test kits and additional protective medical equipment from China, as Beijing is increasingly seeking to portray itself as a partner to nations feeling abandoned by the European Union amid the coronavirus crisis.

China has moved quickly to step into the gaps in European generosity, airlifting masks, respirators and other critical supplies to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport last week when France and Germany had yet to offer assistance to Italy.

Do you think that this willingness to help other nations . . .

. . . as well as China's notable manufacturing ability to actually deliver the promised assistance — is going to get the People's Republic some "soft power" points from other needful nations?

Especially so, when one simultaneously factors in that American economic sanctions are making life terribly worse in nations like Iran and Yemen. And everywhere else that they so thoughtlessly land.

Just a couple of days ago, the US Secretary of State (Mike "Blowhard" Pompeo) was volubly criticizing Iran for covering up some its own coronavirus epidemic.

As if such a thing actually mattered to the United States — even if it were true — given that identical American denial and policy stupidity have already buried Americans in the same pandemic.

Huh, Mike?

Are you really as pompously inept as you look?

Pertinent to my point about the effective use of soft power . . .

. . . and China's emerging superiority at it, American national leadership is too frequently Adam Henry-ish just to be Adam Henry-ish.

What is the strategic point?

Do we think that other people are not noticing?

The moral? — Over the years, the US shipped China virtually our entire critically important manufacturing capacity . . .

. . . so as to enrich America's predatory Fat Cat Elite.

As a result, today, China is intelligently using this American give-away — of our manufacturing capacity and once-existing good will — to expand its Great Power ambition at our currently mostly hapless expense.

For example, still ludicrously early in the American COVID-19 epidemic, US hospitals are already running out of medical masks and other critical pharmaceutical supplies — exactly because we don't make this "stuff" over here anymore.

Talk about shooting your own balls off.

What a joke. And the American Public let our Fake Leaders get away with this national weakening for decades.

Sometimes one doesn't know who to be mad at. Sheep are brainless. Wolves are greedy. Which is worse?

As of now — geopolitically speaking over the long term — I would guess that the unattractive Chinese system has a pronounced edge in this planet's Darwinian Cultural Sweepstakes.

Smart usually (eventually) beats stupidly greedy.

Patience, notably, is another Chinese cultural trait.

Oops.
