US Army is taking another shot at former General Michael Flynn — years after everyone else found nothing substantial enough to pin on him

Today — regarding the continuing persecution of . . .

. . . former President Donald Trump's initial pick for Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn.

Why move quickly and efficiently . . .

. . . when the American Military can move slowly — often incompetently — and in erratic and politically inclined fashions?

"On April 11, 2017, the DoD OIG initiated an investigation into an allegation that retired Lieutenant General (LTG) Michael Flynn failed to obtain required approval from the Army and the Department of State before receiving any emolument from a foreign government or a foreign government-controlled entity.

"At the request of the Department of Justice (DOJ), we placed our investigation in abeyance in June 2017, pending the outcome of criminal allegations against LTG Flynn," IG [Department of Defense Office of Inspector General] spokeswoman Dwrena Allen said in a statement.

"After the former President pardoned LTG Flynn on November 25, 2020, we received permission from the DOJ to continue our investigation.

On January 27, 2021, we closed our investigation against LTG Flynn and forwarded several administrative matters to the Acting Secretary of the Army for review and appropriate action," Allen added.

This delay — translated

The Deep State is protective of its prerogative to do evil.

Perish the thought that anyone else, outside the Club of Gnawing Rats, get away with something and — thereby — set a horrible precedent about the possibility of successful operation outside the American Establishment's full control.

Plus, everyone hates Trump.

Right?

Notice that Michael Flynn made it to three stars

Which (in view of his unending persecution from all sides) should tell us something about the quality of the Army's promotion process.

Or, alternatively, something about the Deep State's predilection for attacking anyone with the slightest visible independence of mind.

The moral? — This is why preserving Freedom will require a purge of American nomenklatura

It is impossible to meaningfully distinguish the US Deep State — and its Party Line — from equivalents in totalitarian nations. Present or past.

This rot goes deep. And, like vastly spreading tendrils of underground fungus that are hidden from sight, it will not let go. Unless someone with armed clout finally decides to fungicide those blood-sucking hyphae into irrelevance.

That's what I previously meant about Joseph Stalin's purging relevance to modern times.

Chilling — if one thinks that Liberty should have the ability to maintain itself.
