America's war weasels are scuttling away — from their responsibility for the Ukrainian slaughter — Defense Secretary Austin's dodge

With America as your purported friend . . .

. . . you are sleeping with the Murdering Devil.

Consider the following . . .

. . . from US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin:

[Reporter] Tom Bowman

General Petraeus famously said of the Iraq War, "Tell me how this ends."

So with the Ukraine War, how does this end?

Is it pushing the Russians back to pre-invasion borders?  Is it pushing the Russians completely out of Ukraine, as British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has said?

Or is it somewhere in the middle?

[Secretary] Austin

Tom, our effort is to do everything that we can to strengthen Ukraine's hands on the battlefield, and also at the negotiation table.

And so we're going to stick with doing everything we can to make sure that they achieve their objectives.

At the end of the day, you know, what this looks like, what end state looks like, will be defined by the Ukrainians, and not by us.

And so we'll leave that up to President Zelenskyy and his leadership to talk about, you know, how this transitions.

In more honest words

The US provoked the Russian invasion of Ukraine and has controlled everything since.

Including down to not allowing puppet-actor (Ukrainian president) Zelensky to negotiate a peace.

Now, with probably tens of thousands of people on both the Russian and Ukrainian sides dead, maimed and wounded — Austin is trying to walk back the United States' responsibility for the horrors — and the Ukraine-expiring outcome — that 'we' intentionally caused.

Nobly courageous, isn't he?

I am certain that Lloyd Austin will pop up in my mind, whenever I need a (literally) full-bodied representation of a dutifully obedient — and (arguably necessarily) immorally classless —government war-weasel.

Recall that this is the same morality-twinkling Secretary, who previously said — in effect — and probably based on orders from his Commander in Chief — that the United States' goal was to bleed Russia dry, but without putting any American troops on the ground or in the air.

Whom (I wonder) did the Nazi-run Ukrainians think the proxy-enslaving United States was going to use — as death-inviting bait — in its announced Russia-weakening direction?

My somewhat excuses for — and apologies to — Secretary Austin

Whose only — and absolutely nationally defining — 'crimes' are an ambition for power and the lack of moral courage necessary to get there.

Should we blame the System and then call it a Happy Day?

The moral? — Friend America is every sensible nation's worst nightmare

At least, when the United States is one's enemy, it can be defeated.

Just ask the Vietnamese, Afghans, Iraqis and Syrians.

And now, the Russians.

I am sure that China is also going to take this History-sanctified hint.

Clever of us, no?

Make everyone with a shred of sense hate us — and then wonder why we are slipping in the hegemonic power rankings.

Right now, the Biden-Deep State crowd is economically scuttling Europe.

Also on purpose.

This has got to be one of History's most peculiarly crafted geopolitical strategies:

Cutting off (or out) our (metaphorical) gonads.

To spite of our Future Face.

Yes sirree, Bob.

Ain't nobody got nothin' on us.
